The Music Icon Embraces a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary Teaser

The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a substantial big screen onslaught in 2026, starting with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, she embodies what she calls as a twisted version of her public image.

It’s the truest representation of the music industry that I’ve ever witnessed, the performer commented.

She further explained in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, however the inspiration came from the demand to create one.

An Early Look into The Moment

The initial preview, launched on Thursday, blends authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with made-up behind-the-scenes moments.

The film is helmed and co-scripted by her collaborator, who explained that the story centers on a reality where Charli took completely different paths throughout the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.

A Busy Movie Lineup

This project is only one of many upcoming screen roles for the star, who has appeared in three cinematic festival entries this year.

Furthermore took on her own role in the comedy series Overcompensating.

Upcoming Projects

The coming year will also feature Charli alongside Olivia Wilde in sensual story I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in art world thriller The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in terror reimagining Faces of Death.

She also signed on to star in Dakota Johnson’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

February will also include the debut of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will feature new music from Charli.

Additionally, she will create the soundtrack for the drama Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released next year.

The mockumentary is scheduled to debut on January 30.
