Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Canine in Mexican Territory to $20,000
Wales football star Aaron Ramsey has boosted the bounty for leads about the lost dog named Halo to $20,000.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently is with the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
Halo, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a GPS collar, and the footballer posted a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of updates about our Halo please get in touch with us. Big reward for locating her. We are all hoping she's ok and will return to our side soon," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Heartfelt Pleas
The footballer first revealed that his dog had vanished 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded several pictures of the cherished dog on Instagram.
A $ten thousand dollar reward was originally offered, but with no news on Halo's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones doubled the reward.
"We just want Halo back," he expressed in another appeal on social media after the elderly pet went missing.
The latest image upload is a grayscale photo of the beagle sleeping, its head lying in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the caption: "How I wish to cuddle you once more sweet Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Context
The footballer has additionally shared a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have several "important queries" surrounding the event and fear the family "may never get explanations".
"We have yet to are still searching for our dog. I don't think we will," the spouse's message stated.
The Welsh skipper became part of Mexico's first division team Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
